Snowmobile base accessories built in Pine City, Minnesota: the mounting layer every Herc sled system stands on. This collection holds the interface kits, tunnel mounts, adapters, and connection hardware that tie auger, rod, bucket, gear, and tent systems to Ski-Doo, Polaris, Arctic Cat, and Yamaha sleds. Every product is backed by a 30 day try it policy and a 2 year warranty, with free U.S. shipping on orders over $100.

Mount the foundation once, and everything else swaps on and off for years.

What's in this collection?

Foundations. The Sled Interface Kit and the Herc Snowmobile Tunnel Mount are the tunnel-mounted bases the carrier systems attach to, offered in versions for different sleds.

Adapters. The Herc Polar Linq Adapter and Expedition Adapter tie Herc systems into other mounting setups, including LinQ-compatible points, so a sled with an existing mount standard runs Herc gear without starting over.

Connection hardware. Twist Lock Connectors, the Sled H-Channel, the Snowmobile Elevator Mount, and the Snow Hitch Kit are the pieces that connect, position, and pull, with each one's specifics on its product page.

Which base does my sled need?

Start from the other end: pick the carrier system that solves your problem first, and its product page states which base and adapter your sled's make and model call for. If you're adapting a sled that already has mounting points, the adapters are the bridge. Not sure what your setup needs? Ask us and we'll tell you straight before you order, and our FAQ and install videos show real installs on real sleds.

Will it fit my sled?

Shop by brand: Ski-Doo, Polaris, Arctic Cat, and Yamaha, with fitment listed on every product page. The full snowmobile collection holds the whole line. Like everything Herc builds, these mounts are designed, cut, welded, powder coated, and assembled in Pine City by Product Fabricators, then run on our own sleds through real Minnesota winters, and the 30 day try it policy means testing one costs you nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Do I buy the base or the system first?

Pick the system first. Each system's product page lists the base and adapter your sled needs, so the foundation follows from the job, not the other way around. This page is where you'll land when the system page sends you here.

What do the adapters do?

They tie Herc systems into mounting setups a sled already has, including LinQ-compatible points, so you can run Herc carriers without replacing what's on the tunnel. Each adapter's product page lists which setups it bridges.

Can one base run multiple systems?

That's the design. The tunnel-mounted foundation stays put, and the auger, rod, bucket, gear, and tent systems attach to it and swap as the trip changes. Check each system's product page for what fits together on your sled.

What if it doesn't fit my sled?

Run it for 30 days on your sled, in your weather. If it doesn't install clean and hold up, send it back under the try it policy. Everything also carries a 2 year warranty.
